Term Life Insurance
Ameritas offers guaranteed term insurance policies for 10 -15 - 20 - and 30 years. Premiums are guaranteed for thelife of the term product.
Variable Life Insurance
For those of you who are more market savvy and prefer the ability to build tax-free wealth tied to the performance of the market, Ameritas has VUL that may suit your needs.
Whole Life Insurance
Ameritas offers guaranteed cash value and a guaranteed death benefit with dividends. They provide a variety of whole-life products to fit your budget and financial goals.
Universal Life Insurance
Pacific Life offers tradtiional flexible universal life insurance.
Indexed UNIVERSAL LIFE
Ameritas ffers this flexible universal life product that allows you to accumulate wealth within the S&P 500 without the negative risk associated with the market.
No-Exam Options
Ameritas will allow for accelerated underwriting for up to 1 million of coverage for individuals between the ages of 18 and 60. No-Exam coverage is available throughout all of Ameritas’s life insurance products. In order to qualify you must:
- Have no major medical conditions.
- If you are over the age of 50 you must participate in routine health care. Must not have filed bankruptcy within the last 5 years.
- You must be a US Citizen or permanent resident. (no temporary visas)
- Be a US Citizen or permanent resident. (no temporary visas)
- You must not participate in a hazardous occupation, avocation, or private aviation. Within the last five years, you must have a clean driving record.
If you live in the state of New York:
- for face amounts over $500,000, a credit report is required
- No-exam underwriting is not available for Variable Universal Life coverage or the Ameritas Plus Surivor IUL plan.
Available Riders
ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT
Where available, it can pay an additional benefit if the insured’s death is considered accidental.
CHILDREN'S INSURANCE
Where available, it provides $25,000 of convertible insurance for the insured’s children
TERMINAL ILLNESS
Accelerate up to 90% of your death benefit (capped at 1.5 million) if a doctor certifies that your life expectancy is 12 months or less.
WAIVER OF PREMIUM
Where available, this rider credits the cost of your policy in the event of your Total Disabilty
CARE 4 LIFE BENEFIT
When available, it can provide benefits if you are diagnosed with a chronic, critical or terminal illness
Qualifying Event Benefit Amount
Critical illness up to 25% of the policy’s specified amount with a maximum of $250,000.
Chronic Illness up to 50% of the policy’s specified amount with a maximum of $1 million.
Terminal Illness up to 75% of the policy’s specified amount with a maximum of $1 million.
Conversion Options
Ameritas will allow for conversion within the first 5 years of your policy or the age of 70 with the conversion extension rider which is included with all PolicyWand quotes. Conversion for all or some of your death benefits into any of Ameritas’s available permanent life insurance products.
Ameritas provides for a conversion credit that provides up to one year’s of your term policy premium. Conversion is guaranteed regardless of your health.
